Glasgow sign Ali Price to professional contract

Glasgow Warriors have signed 22-year-old scrum-half Ali Price on a professional contract.

The BT Sport Scottish Rugby Academy graduate and former Bedford Blue has signed a deal with Gregor Townsend's side until the end of the season, having made nine appearances for Warriors since joining the Scottish union's national set-up in 2013.

The Scotland Under-20 international said: "It's a huge honour to sign my first professional contract and I'm looking forward to continuing my career in Glasgow with the Warriors.

"I've developed a lot as a player over the last 12 months, having had the opportunity to train and play with the first-team squad."
