France fullback Melvyn Jaminet will be making a switch from Top 14 champions Toulouse to rivals Toulon.

Jaminet will be heading to Toulon after signing a long-term contract until 2028.

The 24-year-old started his professional rugby career with Perpignan in 2019 and after playing 41 times for them, he made a move to Toulouse and was part of the side that clinched the Top 14 title in 2023.

“It is with great satisfaction that we welcome to Toulon a local boy who has enriched his technical background through his talent, self-sacrifice, and hard work during his stints in our neighboring clubs, then in Perpignan and Toulous," said Toulon President Bernard Lemaître.

He is expected to be linked with the Toulon squad by 23rd December ahead of their clash against Toulouse at the Stade Ernest-Wallon.

Toulon are positioned seventh in the Top 14 table with three wins from six matches.
