France head coach Fabien Galthie has unveiled a 42-man training squad for the upcoming Rugby World Cup.

Brice Dulin and scrum half Baptiste Serin return to the squad while Arthur Vincent makes it despite sustaining a knee injury and has been out of action since September 2022.

The squad consists of two debutants in centre Emilien Gailleton and winger Louis Bielle-Biarrey with the list set to be trimmed down to 33 members by 21st August.

France will be taking on Scotland in an away and home fixture followed by clashes against Fiji and Australia leading to the Rugby World Cup which they kick-off with an encounter against the All Blacks on 8th September.

France squad:

Props: Cyril Baille, Reda Wardi, Jean-Baptiste Gros, Uini Atonio, Dorian Aldegheri, Demba Bamba, Thomas Laclayat.

Hookers: Julien Marchand, Peato Mauvaka, Pierre Bourgarit

Second row: Cameron Woki, Thibeaud Flament, Romain Taofifenua, Paul Willemse, Bastien Chalureau, Florian Verhaeghe.
