England have been dealt a blow ahead of their final round Six Nations game against France with winger Immanuel Feyi-Waboso ruled out of the encounter.

The 21-year-old made his first debut in the Six Nations game against Ireland but suffered a concussion based symptom after the game. which England went on to win 23-22.

England attack coach Richard Wigglesworth revealed the news on Immanuel Feyi-Waboso and praised the Exeter wing for coming forward with the symptoms.

“Manny is out with a head knock; he felt a bit groggy, so he is unfortunately ruled out of the game,” said Wigglesworth.

“But we don’t take any risks with that sort of stuff. So he is out but otherwise everybody else has trained.

“Manny played really well on Saturday, got his hands on the ball and did what we asked him to do and brought his talents.

“It had been building for Manny. You have to integrate these players carefully and I think Steve [Borthwick] did that well in how we exposed him to Test rugby so that he was ready to fly.

“Manny’s obviously gutted now but being the smart lad he is, he reported his symptoms, so we’re not taking any risks.

“He’s done the right thing but he’s disappointed because he was excited to try to play away in France.”
