England Saxons have made three changes to their line-up ahead of their second game against South Africa A at the Outeniqua Park in George on Friday.

Alex Lewington, who left the field in the 71st minute of the first game is out injured and has been replaced Christian Wade while Exeter Chiefs back-row Don Armand will start at number eight replacing Sam Jones.

Dave Ewers will start at blindside flanker while Exeter's Sam Hill also gets a start on the bench.

England Saxons have already taken a 1-0 lead in the two-match series by virtue of their 32-24 victory in the opening game in Bloemfontein.

Head coach Ali Hepher confirmed the injury to Lewington and hopes for an improved performance in the second game to complete the series victory.

"There were a couple of big performances off the bench last time and so those players have pushed their cases to make the starting line-up.

"We've been working on certain things in training so we can put more into the game and take our opportunities better when they come. We'll be looking to be more clinical this week."
