England head coach Simon Middleton has made a solitary change for their second game in the ongoing Rugby World Cup against France to be played in Whangarei on Saturday.

Marlie Packer has overcome a foot injury that forced her to miss the opening game against Fiji to return at openside flanker with Sadia Kabeya dropping out of the squad.

The game will also see England skipper Sarah Hunter level Rocky Clark to become the joint most-capped player for the red roses with 137 Test caps.

"Marlie just has this aura about her that brings this confrontation and energy," Hunter said.

"It's something that lifts the team against France."

England and France have won their respective opening games of the tournament against Fiji and South Africa respectively.
