London Irish have announced that Argentina international Lucio Cinti has signed a new contract with the Gallagher Premiership club.

Cinti started his career with Argentine club La Plata in 2019 and went on to make a switch to London Irish in 2021.

The 22-year-old has gone on to make 27 first-team appearances for the Exiles scoring six tries.

He made his Test debut for the Pumas in 2018 and has featured in 13 Tests. He was also a Bronze medal winner when he represented Argentina sevens team in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

“I have really enjoyed being here at London Irish, I have been given an opportunity to improve alongside brilliant coaches and players,” he told the club's official website.

“I am very thankful for that and playing in big competitions in Europe has always been a dream, so I look forward to helping bring success to this Club.”

London Irish are positioned seventh in the Gallagher Premiership table with five wins from 13 matches.
