Worcester Warriors confirm departure of 18 players at season end

Worcester Warriors have confirmed exit of 18 players from the Aviva Premiership at the end of the ongoing season.

Ryan Lamb, who helped the club gain promotion to the top league in 2015 will exit the club while the likes of lock Tevita Cavubati and James Johnston are expected to switch to Newcastle and Brive respectively.

Phil Dowson, who has announced his retirement will join Northampton Sains as assistant coach and Tiff Eden (Nottingham Rugby), Val Rapava Ruskin (Gloucester) and Chris Vui (Bristol) will also move away from the Sixways Stadium outfit.

Worcester Warriors rugby director Gary Gold thanked the departing players for their contributions to the club.

"I would like to place on record my thanks to every departing player for their efforts on and off the pitch during their time at Sixways. We wish them the very best of luck in the future."

Apart from the 18 first team players, five Academy players have also announced their exit.
