Worcester Warriors have announced that centre Oli Morris has signed his first full contract with the Gallagher Premiership club.

A product of Saracens Academy, Morris joined Worcester Warriors ahead of the 2019/20 season and has gone on to make nine Premiership appearances for them scoring two tries in it.

The 21-year-old also was part of Ampthill in the past helping them win the National One League to secure a promotion to the second tier Championship.

“It’s good to see where the club is going. It looks like there will be a real upward movement and I’m really excited to be part of that,” he told in a statement released by the club.

“I am really enjoying my rugby at the moment and hopefully I can continue to be involved as much as I can.”

Worcester director of rugby Alan Solomons expressed delight in Morris signing his first full contract with the club.

“Oli has played some terrific rugby this season and it is fantastic to see him commit his future to Warriors,” said Warriors Director of Rugby Alan Solomons.

“Oli is an outstanding young talent, who has hit the ground running in his Premiership debut season with his explosive style of play both sides of the ball.

“I have no doubt that he will continue his upward trajectory and be integral to the future of the club as we seek to take Warriors forward.”

Worcester Warriors are positioned 11th in the Gallagher Premiership table with two wins from eight matches and will host Wasps in the next round on 14th February.
