Wasps flanker has extended his stay at Wasps after signing a new deal with the Gallagher Premiership club.

Willis, who started his career with Reading Abbey RFC joined Wasps in 2016 with his debut for the club coming in November that year during the Anglo-Welsh Cup competition.

His consistent domestic performances saw him rewarded with a senior contract after he was named the Academy Player of the Season in 2017/18. The 23-year-old has made 54 appearances for the club in which he scored 11 tries.

Willis earned a selection in England's tour of South Africa in 2018 summer but had to miss the opportunity because of a serious knee injury that sidelined him for 10 months.

“It was great seeing Jack get back to playing this season after having a long layoff with a serious injury," said Wasps head coach Lee Blackett.

"Jack has been one of our top performer’s this year and there is still more to come from him, which is frightening. Whenever he pulls on the Wasps jersey, you can see how much pride he has playing for this club”
