Wales assistant coach Gareth Jenkins said a call on skipper Dan Biggar's fitness will be taken in the coming days leading to the third and deciding Test against South Africa to be played in Cape Town on Saturday.

Biggar left the field in the 51st minute during the match in Bloemfontein with a shoulder injury and was replaced by Gareth Anscombe.

Apart from Biggar, Wales also have other injury concerns as wing Alex Cuthbert is already ruled out and returning home while prop Dillon Lewis also sustained an injury during the second game.

"In terms of Dan, we'll wait until later in the week, while Alex has gone home. We've got a few bumps and bruises," said Jenkins.

"He’s (Lewis) recovered well and hopefully he’ll train Thursday and be back on the field on the weekend.

"However, there's not too much to write home about and I think we'll have a full squad to select from."

The series is currently levelled at 1-1 with South Africa winning the first Test in Pretoria with a 32-29 margin before Wayne Pivac's men bounced back with a 13-12 victory in the second game in Cape Town.
