Fiji head coach Simon Raiwalui has named a 33-man squad for the upcoming Rugby World Cup to be played in France next month.

Toulon's Waisea Nayacalevu has been named the captain of the squad that also features the likes of Semi Radradra, Josua Tuisova, Kalaveti Ravouvou and Frank Lomani.

Fijian Drua duo Teti Tela and Caleb Muntz have been the preferred fly-halves while Levani Botia, Nayacalevu and Peni Ravai are set to feature in their third World Cup.

The squad has a solitary uncapped player in Jone Koroiduadua but there are no places for Ben Volavola, Vilimoni Botitu and Seta Tamanivalu.

“We have had a good journey for the last five weeks starting from Taveuni,” he told the Fiji Rugby Union’s official website.

“I couldn’t be more proud of the players and the input they had in all our three test matches against Tonga, Samoa and Japan.”

Fiji are grouped in Pool C alongside Australia, Wales, Georgia and Portugal.
