As we look back over the 2023 Six Nations we pick out the players who impressed throughout the competition.
1. Andrew Porter (Ireland) - Ireland's no1 loosehead, powered his way through vast amounts of work. Cyril Baille ran him close.
2. Dan Sheehan (Ireland) - Showed a huge amount of pace and dynamism throughout the tournament, along with a couple of tries.
3. Finlay Bealham (Ireland) - Filled the huge boots of Tadhg Furlong with a solid all round set-peice display and used well in attack.
4. Thibaud Flament (France) - Slotted into the starting XV and held his position in a competitive French side, notched up 81 tackles and 3 tries!
5. James Ryan (Ireland) - Stole five lineouts in this year’s Six Nations, hitting the fifth most attacking rucks 122 and scored 2 tries.
6. Seb Negri (Italy) - A huge engine on the back rower, uber consistent, he made an astonishing 56 carries, a stalwart for the Italians.
7. Josh Van der Flier (Ireland) - Back to his best, dynamic and abrasive. Really stepped up his carrying in the loose and finished with 67 tackles.
8. Caelan Doris (Ireland) - A carrying machine with 54, turnover king with 5. Creating devistation all around with pitch like any great no.8.
9. Antoine Dupont (France) - Cool as ever as he steered Les Blues to second place, 7 offloads along with multiple positive decisions in every match.
10. Johnny Sexton (Ireland) - Captained his side to Grand Slam glory. Relentless in every match, top points scorer in the Six Nation ever.
11. Damian Penaud (France) - Top try scorer in this year's competition with 5, always an elusive threat on the wing for France.
12. Sione Tuipulotu (Scotland) - Created plenty of space through his harsh running lines, always looking for options on the attack with 3 try asissts.
13. Huw Jones (Scotland) - Becoming a very astute international centre, powerful in defense and ruthless in attack with 4 tries to his name.
14. Mack Hansen (Ireland) - Shortlisted as player of the tournament, easy to see why with a 3 tries and 50 carries.
15. Hugo Keenan (Ireland) - Made the top metres in the competiton with 562, brilliant under the high ball and on the counter attack.
