Newcastle Falcons have announced that fly-half Tian Schoeman has left the club with mutual consent.

Schoeman made his Newcastle Falcons debut in 2022 and has featured for them in 17 games scoring 48 points.

He started his career with Blue Bulls in 2013 and has represented Bordeaux, Cheetahs and Bath before joining the Falcons.

Newcastle Falcons Chairman of rugby Matt Thompson thanked Schoeman for his contribution to the side.

“I would like to thank Tian for everything he put into the club during his season with us and wish him and his family all the best for the future," said Thompson to the club's official website.

Newcastle Falcons finished last in the previous season's Premiership after managing just six wins from 20 matches.
