Ospreys 21-25 Stade Francais, Principality Stadium
Scorecard

Stade Francais successfully overcame a sin-bin and a red card of Josaia Raisuqe to win the European Challenge Cup quarter-final against Ospreys at Principality Stadium on Sunday.

Dan Biggar kicked an early penalty to get things going for Ospreys and seven minutes later Raisuqe was sin-binned which the home side failed to capitalise. Instead, Zurab Zhvania went past the line for the visitors, who soon took a five point lead following penalty from Jules Plisson.

The gap came down to two points at half time after Biggar's second penalty.

Plisson extended the lead to five points with his second penalty but Ospreys bounced back into lead with a try from Josh Matavesi and a penalty from Biggar.

Despite a 51st minute red card from Raisuqe, replacements Raphael Lakafia and Julien Dupuy rumbled past the post to take a 14-25 lead for Stade Francais.

Ospreys hopes raised when replacement Tyler Ardron scored a 75th minute try followed by a conversion from Biggar that brought down the gap to four points but Stade Francais held their nerve to make it to the semi-final of the tournament where they will lock horns with Bath at Stade Jean-Bouin.
