Sharks winger S'busiso Nkosi is set to remain on the sidelines for up to 12 weeks following an injury on his left ankle.

The 22-year-old was replaced in the closing stage of the first half in last weekend's game against Stormers and underwent a scan that revealed syndesmosis sprain on his left ankle.

Nkosi made his debut for South Africa in the recently concluded series against England where he started in all the three games.

Sharks are currently at third in South African Conference and will be hoping for a win against Jaguares in the final round and also require Melbourne Rebels to lose the game against Highlanders in order to make it to the play-off.
