Scotland full-back Chloe Rollie has been ruled out of the remainder of the ongoing World Cup following an arm injury.

The 27-year-old sustained the injury during the recently concluded World Cup game against Australia which they went on to lose 14-12.

Rollie made her debut for Scotland during the 2015 Six Nations tournament and has gone on to play 52 times scoring 15 tries.

Shona Campbell, who replaced Rollie in the game last weekend is expected to be part of the starting line up for their must win game against New Zealand on Saturday.

This is the second injury setback for Scotland during the tournament as Eilidh Sinclair was also sidelined with an elbow injury that she sustained during the opening game against Wales and is ruled out of the competition.

Scotland are languishing at the bottom of the Pool A table after losing both their matches.
