Saracens stretched their winning streak to four games as they trounced Gloucester Rugby 38-15 in their Gallagher Premiership clash at Allianz Park on Sunday.

This is Saracens' fourth successive bonus point victory this season as they claim the top place in the table with 20 points while Gloucester are at fifth place with 12 points.

The Cherry and Whites headed into the game with two wins a draw before this game but it was Saracens, who had the early lead when David Strettle crossed over in the 6th minute with Owen Farrell kicking a conversion and a penalty goal on either side to make it 10-0.

The Saracens upped the ante further when Maro Itoje crossed over twice in the 27th and 39th minutes and Farrell kicking both the conversions as the home side amassed 24 points before the break as compared to three from Gloucester that came from the boots of Billy Twelvetrees in the 36th minute.

Mark McCall's men further extended the lead of the home side to 31-3 when Sean Maitland strolled over the line in the 55th minute followed by a conversion from Farrell and Alex Lozowski followed the suit in the 69th minute as Sarries stretched their tally to 38 points.

Even though Mark Atkinson and Charlie Sharples scored consolation tries for Gloucester, they succumbed to a 38-15 defeat.
