Leinster have confirmed that Ireland back row Ryan Baird has signed a contract extension with the Irish province.

A product of Leinster Academy, Baird made his senior debut with the province in April 2019 against Ulster following Ireland’s U20 Six Nations Grand Slam win. He played in all 80 minutes in Leinster's Champions Cup semi-final game against Northampton.

He made his Ireland debut in 2021 and was part of Ireland's Six Nations triumph earlier in the year.

Meanwhile, academy prop Jack Boyle has signed his first senior deal with the province.

Boyle made his Leinster debut against the Dragons in February of last year and has played nine times in the United Rugby Championship this season.

Winger Tommy O’Brien has also signed a new contract with Leinster. He has made 32 appearances for the province since making debut in 2019 and featured in six games in the United Rugby Championship this campaign.

Leinster will be facing Toulouse in the final of the Investec Champions Cup with the game scheduled to be played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 25th May.
