Racing 92 maintained their unbeaten run in the ongoing European Champions Cup as the went on to complete a double over Ospreys with a 40-27 victory at Paris La Defense Arena on Friday.

The result means the French side have consolidated their top place in Pool 4 with 17 points while Ospreys' winless tournament continued as they languish at the bottom.

Fielding a young side, Ospreys were the first to get the points as Cai Evans sent Luke Morgan over the line in the eighth minute for an unconverted try. but the rest of the first half saw total domination from the hosts as they went on to claim a 26-5 lead.

First it was Louis Dupichot, who went over the line in the 11th minute after good work from Cedate Gomes Sa following which Imhoff touched down twice in the 14th and 25th minutes and on both occasions, Maxime Machenaud slotted the extras.

As the half-time was approaching, Racing 92 went on to claim the bonus with Imhoff involved once again following which Machenaud pass was grabbed by Simon Zebo as he crossed the whitewash to ensure a strong finish in the first half for the home side.

Georges-Henri Colombe and Yoan Tanga took Racing 92's tally to 40 points as they went over the line early in the second half following which the Welsh side made an impressive fightback with tries from Lesley Kim (56' and 78), Luke Price (68') and Shaun Venter (72') to ensure they claimed a bonus point in the 13-point defeat.
