Queensland Reds have announced that Fiji prop Peni Ravai has re-signed with the Super Rugby club.

Ravai started his professional rugby career with Greater Sydney Rams in 2014 and also had represented Southland, Bordeaux Begles and Clermont before heading to Queensland in 2023.

He made his Queensland debut against Hurricanes in February and has made 14 appearances for them.

The 33-year-old made his Fiji debut in 2013 and has made 40 Test appearances while representing them in the 2015 and 2019 Rugby World Cups.

“I’ve loved my time with the Reds so far," he told the club's official website.

“It’s a great group of players and staff, and I’m looking forward to working in a new world class facility at Ballymore next season.

“I enjoy working with the young frontrowers at the club and hope I can help them with my experience.”

Meanwhile, the club also confirmed that Gold Coast product Massimo De Lutiis will join the club ahead of the 2024 season. He made the move to the nation's capital in 2022, spending two seasons with the Brumbies and Canberra Royals before earning Junior Wallabies selection this year.
