Wasps boss Dai Young insists the results of the upcoming two Aviva Premiership games is vital for their chances this season.

The Ricoh Arena outfit will head to the Recreation Ground on Friday to face Bath and the clash will be followed by a home game against Saracens on 7th January.

Wasps are currently positioned third int he table but wins in the next two rounds will keep them in contention for top two positions.

"The next two games are massive for us," Young said, as quoted by the club's official website.

"Coming into this block of three league games, we said if we could get three good results then we will be sitting pretty in the top four which will take a bit of pressure off us.

"But if we don't, it will put a bit of pressure on us and go right to the wire, so these are important games."

Wasps next game will be against Bath, who lost their last two Aviva Premiership games against Sale Sharks and Exeter Chiefs but Young is uniwlling to take Todd Blackadder's side lightly.

"Bath did a job on us at the Ricoh (Arena), but we are better now than we were then, since we have evolved as a team," he said.

"But you have to give them credit, as they were the better team on the day, so it is up to us to go and reverse that result."

With Josh Bassett injured, Young has recalled Marcus Watson at left wing, while James Haskell returns to blindside flanker after being rested against Gloucester, where Wasps secured a fifth consecutive top-flight win.
