New Zealand head coach Steve Hansen has made one change to the starting line-up that will take on Scotland in the upcoming encounter at Murrayfield Stadium.

Codie Taylor will replace the injured Dane Coles in the starting XV from the side that defeated France 39-18 in Paris last weekend.

Taylor's place on the bench has been taken by Nathan Harris with Liam Squire replacing Scott Barrett in the final change among the replacements.

Hansen is expecting a stiff challenge from Scotland at their own backyard and wants the All Blacks to maintain their momentum.

"This Test against Scotland will be an opportunity for this group of players to take on the challenge of raising the bar on performance which was set down by their teammates on Tuesday.

"Scotland will be a formidable opponent who, from all indications, will be looking to play skilful rugby and an up-tempo game.

"Therefore, we will need to meet this challenge head on and be prepared to empty the tank and exert our own pressure upon them through both our physicality, our own tempo in the game and executing our skills at the highest level."
