Saracens 51-18 Leicester Tigers, StoneX Stadium

Saracens came up with a seven-try performance as they trounced Leicester Tigers 51-18 in the fourth round of the Gallagher Premiership at StoneX Stadium on Saturday.

This is third win for Saracens in as many games as they move to the top of the table while Leicester Tigers are at sixth position after losing their second game in four matches.

The opening 10 minutes saw Leicester race to a six point lead after Freddie Burns kicked back to back penalties before Owen Farrell responded with a three pointer of his own to reduce the arrears for the home side.

The home side went into the lead with Ivan van Zyl drew Freddie Steward forward and eventually Alex Lozowski touching down in the 14th minute and Farrell's conversion made it 10-6.

The start of the second quarter saw James Cronin collected a chip from Freddie Burns to dot down with the fly-half also kicking the extras to increase the lead to three points but it was short lived as Elliot Daly set up back rower Ben Earl over the line and around the half-hour mark Jamie George burst forward to send Max Malins over.

The bonus point for Mark McCall's men came inside the opening half as Nick Tompkins and Daly combined with eventually van Zyl scoring their fourth. Farrell missed out on the conversion but Saracens were still dominant in the opening half at the end of which they had a 27-13 lead.

Daly missed a penalty goal early in the second half but Freddie Steward powered over in the corner to reduce the gap down to nine points. The start of the final quarter saw Daly went past three defenders to score their fifth try and shortly Theodore McFarland also followed the suit with Farrell's conversion making it 44-18 as the game entered the final 10 minutes.

There was no respite whatsoever for the last season's champions as Scotland wing Sean Maitland, who came off the bench pounced on a loose pass to score their seventh try as they completed a 33 point victory.
