Sunwolves 17-30 Rebels, Prince Chichibu Memorial Stadium

The Rebels produced a fiery second-half performance to thrash Sunwolves 37-17 in Tokyo on Saturday.

21-year-old winger Jack Maddocks (8, 47, 51) finished with a hat-trick among a haul of six tries at Prince Chichibu Memorial Stadium.

Amanaki Mafi (11), Sefanaia Naivalu (44) and a Penalty try (80) made up for the rest of the tally.

Will Tupou (34) and Ed Quirk (77) scored the two tries for Sunwolves.

Quirk was yellow carded for a deliberate knockdown in the final minute of the match and the Rebels were awarded a penalty try.

Things were pretty even-stevens at the half time whistle with both teams scoring 10 points each.

With this win, the Rebels have continued their unbeaten start to the Super Rugby season.
