Wales will miss the services of Leigh Halfpenny and Tommy Reffell in the upcoming Autumn International clash against Argentina due to injuries.

Halfpenny was set to start at fullback for Wayne Pivac's during the opening game against New Zealand but had aggravated a hamstring injury.

In his absence, Gareth Anscombe was shifted to fullback with Rhys Priestland handed the number 10 jersey for the last weekend's game in Cardiff.

Meanwhile, Reffell sustained a rib injury during the match against New Zealand which has ruled him out of the game against the Pumas.

The news was confirmed by Wales assistant coach Gethin Jenkins.

"Leigh is not going to be available this week, and Tommy won't be available," said Jenkins.

"They are the only two, I think at the moment, that are fully ruled out for the weekend."

Following a 23-55 defeat against New Zealand, Wales will be locking horns with Argentina, Georgia and Australia in the remainder of the autumn internationals on 12th, 19th and 26th November respectively.
