Leicester Tigers centre Dan Kelly will face an independent disciplinary hearing on Tuesday after he was cited following the recently concluded Gallagher Premiership game against Saracens.

The 20-year-old was cited by independent citing commissioner Duncan Bell for striking with shoulder which is a breach of World Rugby Law 9.12.

As a result, Kelly will attend the hearing on Tuesday which will be chaired by Mike Hamlin along with Rob Vickerman, with one other member to be confirmed.

The game saw Leicester complete a 13-12 win, courtesy a penalty try at the end after Billy Vunipola was sin-binned for collapsing the set piece as it approached the try line.

The win was Leicester's third in as many games as they are at the top place in the table with 14 points. They will be locking horns with London Irish next on 9th October at Brentford Community Stadium.
