Leicester Tigers have confirmed five new signings ahead of the 2019/20 Premiership's season resumption in August.

Fiji winger Kini Murimurivalu will head to Welford Road after loads of experience in Top 14 where he represented Clermont and La Rochelle for over a decade combined. He has represented Fiji in 30 games including eight World Cup matches.

Argentina back Matias Morini will join from Jaguares after their 2020 Super Rugby season was disrupted by the pandemic coronavirus. He also has featured in 47 Tests for the Pumas and most recently was part of the 2019 World Cup squad.

South African rugby player Kobus van Wyk will feature for the Tigers when the season resumes from Hurricanes and had represented Sharks, Bordeaux Begles and Stormers in the past and will join Harlequins Elite Player Development Group product Luke Wallace and Australian-based Guy Porter in the list of fresh additions to the squad.

“There is a great mix of experience and youth in these five additions to our group, who add valuable depth to the Tigers squad," said Leicester Tigers Director of Rugby Geordan Murphy in a statement released by the club.

“Each of these men add something different, while also being the quality type of people we want representing Leicester Tigers moving forward.

“It’s a new look group of players, with an impressive coaching team leading them, that represent the values of our club and we are excited about what is ahead for us.”
