On Friday the 21st of February, the eve of the huge RBS 6 Nations clash between England and Ireland at Twickenham, their Legend counterparts will face each other and compete for the annual Stuart Mangan Memorial Cup.

The England Legends are led once again by Martin Corry, Jason Leonard brings his century of caps and his imposing figure to lay the foundations for an exciting looking England squad; that includes Andy Gomarsall, Hugh Vyvyan and Duncan Bell.

The Ireland Legends boast more caps collectively than their opponents and certainly have plenty of fire power within their ranks. Their captain is Shane Bryne and with Justin Bishop and Geordan Murphy both set to play you know that some running rugby will be on the cards.

The fixture is played in memory of the late Irish rugby player Stuart Mangan who sadly passed away due to complications resulting from a serious neck injury obtained whilst on the field – all proceeds will go directly to three influential charities: Restart, RFU Injured Players Foundation and IRFU Charitable Trust.

The match is set to be a fiercely contested affair underneath the Friday Night Lights; the England Legends go into it on the back of that superb win over Australia Legends back in November however like their RBS 6 Nations counterparts the men in green will arrive in London ready to cause an upset!
