England coach Eddie Jones has made just two changes to the starting line-up for the game against Australia at Twickenham on Saturday.

Wasps back-row Nathan Hughes is set to make his first full start for England while Harlequins' Marland Yarde will make a start at wing.

Hughes will take the place of Billy Vunipola at number eight after the latter is set for a lengthy layoff after undergoing a knee surgery and is in danger of missing the Six Nations 2017 tournament too. The 25-year-old was included in the XV after he made successful recovery from a foot injury and will now look to add to his two Test caps.

Yarde on the other hand, will take the place of Elliott Daly, who is on a three-match suspension for performing a dangerous tackle on Argentina's Leonardo Senatore in last weekend's encounter. Jonny May will be switching to left wing to accomodate the 24-year-old.

"Nathan is a strong runner and will provide go-forward," Jones said.

"I like one winger with pace, which is Jonny May, and one with work rate, so Marland will work hard for us."

Yarde's inclusion meant, Semesa Rokoduguni, who was dropped after a man of the match performance against Fiji will have to wait to make his third international appearance.

A win for England on Saturday will help them level the national record of 14 consecutive wins which was set by Sir Clive Woodward's 2003 World Cup winning men and it will also be the fourth consecutive victory over the Wallabies this year after whitewashing them 3-0 earlier this year.

"Australia have improved significantly since we last played them," Jones said.

"The enduring feature of Australian rugby is their cleverness. They look like they are doing one thing and then they do the other.

"They have got some quite clever two-phase variation plays and we are going to need to be on our guard.

"They played very deep and a long way from the gain line against us in June, now they are really flattening up.

"They've really got their attack together and it's clear (assistant coach) Stephen Larkham is doing a good job with them.

"We want to make the game into a physical contest, but we also need to be flexible and adaptable like we were against Argentina and if do that we'll put ourselves in a good position to win the game."

England have not lost a game since Jones took over as the head coach but the 56-year-old emphasised that the bigger picture will always remain the 2019 World Cup in Japan.

"We've played three Test matches on the trot which is important because it replicates a World Cup pool," Jones said.

"You get through the pool you then need to win every game to win the World Cup.

"We've won three from three so it's a great dress rehearsal for the World Cup. We need to win this game to progress to the next stage.

"You can't just win three games to go through, Japan showed that, so we've got to get in that practice of winning four games on the trot against quality opposition."
