Leinster 20-8 Benetton Treviso, Dublin
Joey Carbery scored two tries in the first half as Leinster completed a convincing 20-8 victory over Treviso in the Pro12 encounter in Dublin.
The fly-half's first try came as early in the second minute and with Fergus McFadden adding a conversion, Leinster took a lead of 7-0. It took Carbery just 25 more minutes to score the second try and soon Leinster raised the gap to 15 points.
Marco Fuser provided some respite for Treviso with a try in the 36th minute to reduce the gap to 10 points at half-time.
Scoring chances reduced considerably in the second half with both teams failing to add any point until the 72nd minute when James Tracy touched down to secure a bonus point victory for Leinster.
Carbery was named the player of the match for his double tries in the first half.
