Gael Fickou and Camille Lopez starred in France's 22-16 win over Scotland in their Six Nations encounter at Stade de France on Sunday. So how have the Scotland players fared in the encounter?

STUART HOGG: Scored his 15th international try on his 50th appearance and defended better in the second half after missing a couple of tackles in the first, including when Gael Fickou notched France's only try. Made some good ground at times and showed his trickery. 7/10.

SEAN MAITLAND: Almost burst clear early on and made some decent ground. 6

HUW JONES: Set up Hogg's try with a composed pass. 6

ALEX DUNBAR: Threw himself into the game, making nine tackles and winning three turnovers. The centre came back into the fray after a head injury assessment. 7

TOMMY SEYMOUR: Set up Scotland's second try with a testing lob and some persistent play. 6

FINN RUSSELL: Showed some great footwork in the first half but missed the easiest of conversions early in the second half and it appeared to affect his composure and decision-making afterwards. 5

GREIG LAIDLAW: Hit the bar with a difficult conversion attempt and went off with an injury 25 minutes in. 6

ALLAN DELL: Stood up to an intense physical threat until going off injured early in the second half. 6

FRASER BROWN: An impressive defensive display, making 15 tackles to help halt a physical French attack on several occasions. 7

ZANDER FAGERSON: Up against it in the wake of a powerful French pack and lost discipline at times. 6

RICHIE GRAY: The lock was always in the mix in a brutal encounter. 7

JONNY GRAY: Became Scotland's third skipper of the day after Laidlaw and then John Barclay went off injured and showed enough to suggest he could lead the team in the future. 6

JOHN BARCLAY: The recalled flanker made a good impact before going off with a head injury late in the first half. 6

HAMISH WATSON: An impressive display, caused France problems. 7

JOSH STRAUSS: The number eight forced Scotland forward, making 48 metres and 15 clean breaks. A powerful display. 8

Tim Swinson came off the bench to score within moments of replacing the injured John Hardie while Ali Price stepped in well after Laidlaw limped off in the 25th minute.
