England coach Eddie Jones has left out Saracens trio Mako, Billy Vunipola, Jamie George along with Leicester Tigers fly-half George Ford in the 34-man squad for the upcoming autumn internationals.

All the four players, who were part of England's World Cup campaign in 2019 where they reached the final were left out from the training squad announced by Jones last month.

Billy and Ford did not feature for the red rose team during their summer series fixtures against USA and Canada while Mako and George were involved in the British and Irish Lions' tour of South Africa.

Sale Sharks scrum-half Raffi Quirke and Northampton back Tommy Freeman have been included in the squad along with Gloucester centre Mark Atkinson and Leicester hooker Nic Dolly as the four uncapped players.

Harlequins fly-half Marcus Smith makes the selection over Ford while Owen Farrell will continue to lead the side despite a mixed tour with Lions in the series against the Springboks where he was axed for the decider.

“This is a young but very good, talented squad who have all earned their places. It is one of the most competitive squads I have ever picked," Jones said in a statement released.

“There are a number of disappointed players who haven’t been selected, but they know what they need to do and no door is closed to any player.

“We’re looking forward to three tough Test matches. Tonga always play a strong, physical game and Australia and South Africa have had extended periods together and will be a good challenge for us.

“Our aim each week will be to get better and better as we work towards the Rugby World Cup in 2023.”

England will be locking horns with Tonga on 3rd November followed by clashes with Australia and South Africa scheduled to be played on 13th and 20th November respectively.
