Football's 'The Beast' takes on World Cup winner Will Greenwood

AFC Wimbledon footballer Adebayo 'The Beast' Akinfenwa and Rugby World Cup winner Will Greenwood recently swapped sports as part of the build-up to the Sports Show later this summer.

Watch the video above as they switch roles, taking on penalties, line outs and scrums.

"Filming with Bayo was a good laugh, always good to teach a footballer some rugby skills and now I've experienced first-hand why they call him 'the beast', that man is strong," Greenwood, a World Cup winner with England in 2003, said.

"It's great meeting new people and trying out different sports, which is why the Sports Show is going to be so amazing.

"It's a chance to try lots of different sports all under one roof and get some tips from all the sporting heroes that we'll have there."

Akinfenwa added: "I got to hang out with Will Greenwood, a Rugby World Cup winning legend and it was a great morning!

"He's got some serious football skills, but I like to think I passed on a few of my tips to make him even better on the pitch.

"I'm going to learn from a few more heroes at the Sports Show in June. I'm also looking forward to trying out Dodgeball, I'll give the court the full 'beast mode' treatment."

For your chance to meet your sporting heroes this summer, come to the Sports Show on 25th and 26th June 2016 at the NEC Birmingham. www.sports-show.co.uk
