Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend has named Racing 92 fly-half Finn Russell in the starting line up for the upcoming autumn international fixture against New Zealand to be played at Murrayfield on Sunday.

Russell, who was not part of the initial Scotland squa will replace injured Adam Hastings at number 10 with Blair Kinghorn providing impact from the bench.

Sione Tuipulotu has been drafted at inside centre joining vice captain Chris Harris in the midfield with Cameron Redpath released from the squad.

The final change sees Fraser Brown comes in as the preferred hooker over George Turner, who is sidelined by an injury.

Meanwhile, WP Nel is set to win his 50th cap for the Dark Blues from the bench which also sees the return of Mark Bennett.
