Exeter Chiefs scrum-half Will Chudley has been charged by the Rugby Football Union (RFU) over a kicking incident involving Wasps lock Joe Launchbury during the semi-final at the Sandy Park on Saturday.

Chudley, who was named the man of the match during his side's 34-23 victory on Saturday was seen kicking Launchbury in an attempt to dislodge the ball from a ruck.

The 28-year-old will now appear before an RFU disciplinary three-person panel, chaired by Daniel White in Bristol on Tuesday.

The Exeter star is now at the risk of missing the final against Saracens in the possibility of any ban incurred on Tuesday.

Chudley has played 23 games for Exeter in this season and has scored four tries in it.
