England Women head coach Simon Middleton has made a solitary change for the clash against France Ladies to be played in Exeter on Saturday.

Middleton has named the same matchday squad except that wing Lydia Thompson swaps places with Jess Breach, who moves to the bench.

"We were delighted to secure our first win in France since 2012. The players put a real shift in and stuck to the plan," said Middleton.

"We have had a good week's recovery and preparation, which we will now complete in Devon.

"As we expected, last week's game was incredibly competitive, while at the same time, it was clear to see that both sides hadn't played competitively for a couple of months.

"However, I expect both teams to have shaken off some of the ring rust this week and the skill execution should be evident in the performances".

Earlier, England sealed 20-10 victory over France in the opening game which was also their first win in French soil in seven years.
