England coach Eddie Jones has named an updated 37-man squad for the summer series against the USA and Canada.

Uncapped Harlequins trio Marcus Smith, Alex Dombrandt and Jack Kenningham, who were part of the Premiership title winning side are part of the squad along with Exeter's Henry Slade.

Smith finished the 2020/21 season at the top in the list of most points scored by a player with 286 to his tally and has been a key member in driving the Quins to their title victory while Dombrandt also had an impressive season finishing third in most tries scored with 11 touchdowns.

Wasps' Gabriel Oghre returns after being involved in the first week of training and is among the 23 uncapped players in the squad named by Jones. While Northampton Saints winger Ollie Sleightholme is unavailable for selection due to a concussion suffered in training, London Irish lock Chunya Munga is added in the squad as an apprentice player.

“This is the third and final phase of our selection," said Jones.

"We have a squad here full of talent and potential, with 23 uncapped players who have the chance to make their England debut.

“We’ve had two good weeks working and training hard and now we look forward to seeing how far we can go.”

With the England A's clash against Scotland A cancelled, the squad trained at Mattioli Woods Welford Road on Sunday before heading to Pennyhill Park on Monday as they prepare for the games against USA and Canada scheduled on 4th and 10th July respectively at Twickenham Stadium.
