Scorecard

Dragons have secured a quarter-final berth in the ongoing European Rugby Challenge Cup after they trounced RC Enisei 47-5 at Rodney Parade on Friday.

This is Dragons' fourth win from six games as they finish second in Pool 1 while RC Enisei finishes with six defeats in the tournament.

Ross Moriarty started the proceedings with an early 11th minute try and the hosts went on to double their tally by the half hour mark when Jared Rosser dotted down. Sam Davies kicked both the conversions as Dragons raced to a 14-0 lead.

Winger Bjorn Basson led RC Enisei's response with a 33rd minute try but unfortunately for the French side, that remained their only points in the game.

Dragons were quick to get off the block in the second half with Harrison Keddie going over the line and their momentum took a further boost when RC Enisei were reduced to 14-men temporarily with Dimitri Gerasimov's sin-bin in the 52nd minute.

Dragons went on to capitalise on the numerical advantage with Tyler Morgan dotting down that helped them claim the bonus point while Adam Warren (71' and 81') and Aaron Wainwright (75') scored further tries for the Welsh side as they sealed a comfortable win.
