Dragons have confirmed that hooker Taylor Davies has rejoined the club on loan for the 2021/22 season.

Davies first joined Dragons in April towards the end of the previous season to bolster their front-row options and went on to make three appearances for the province in the Rainbow Cup.

“I really enjoyed my time with Dragons last season and feel this is another good opportunity for me to come and progress my rugby again. I’m glad to be back," he told the club's official website.

“The coaches are doing a good job here, as we saw last season, and I feel I can progress as well as helping the team out.

“I think this will be a good season and I am looking forward to the fans coming back in and supporting the boys.”

The 26-year-old started his career with Scarlets in the 2016/17 season of Anglo-Welsh with his senior debut coming in the pre-season clash with Exeter Chiefs in 2016 and has overall gone on to play 36 times for the club.

“We’re pleased that Taylor has rejoined us to add competition to our front row and he is keen to take this opportunity," said Dragons director of rugby Dean Ryan.

“Taylor worked hard with us towards the end of last season and we feel he will benefit from further exposure to our environment.”
