Saracens Women have confirmed that prop Donna Rose will be remaining with the club for the 2021/22 season.

Rose began playing rugby as a teenager, first as a winger for Ellingham & Ringwood RFC under-18s, and later in the back-row for Trojans making 153 appearances for them.

The 30-year-old joined Saracens in 2019 and has played 17 appearances for the club since then.

“I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else, I’m excited for the new season!," she told the club's official website.

She went on to make her debut for France during the Women's Six Nations tournament earlier in the year and has played three games.

Saracens Women's head coach Alex Austerberry is thrilled with Rose staying with the club for another season.

“Donna is a physical presence in the Sarries pack and her hard work was rightly rewarded with an international call up last season.

"She’s an individual who is hungry to learn and develop so it’s fantastic to keep her here at StoneX.”
