Northampton Saints have announced that South Africa international Courtnall Skosan will be leaving the club at the end of the ongoing season.

Skosan joined the Saints in 2021 and has scored 19 tries in 37 appearances that includes 16 games this season for the club. Prior to joining the Saints, the 31-year-old went on to make over 100 appearances for Super Rugby club Lions and Currie Cup side Golden Lions.

He also played for South Africa at the World Rugby Under-20 Championship in 2011, and South Africa ‘A’ in 2016 before making his Test debut in 2017. Overall, he has featured in 12 games for the Springboks.

“Thank you to Saints’ management, players, and staff for the last two seasons," he told the club's official website.

"And to the fans – thank you for the support. You really are a force to be reckoned with, there’s no better feeling than to play in front of a packed Franklin’s Gardens.

“For now, though, I’m looking forward to finishing this season off on a high. God bless.”

Northampton currently are at the fourth place in the table with nine wins from 17 matches.
