Brumbies scored two tries in the second half as they came from behind to defeat Kings 8-19 in their Super Rugby clash at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.

An early sin-bin to Brumbies fullback Thomas Banks saw a penalty try awarded to Kings in the third minute as they claimed a seven point lead.

Fly-half Lionel Cronje extended the lead to 10 points with his penalty in the 16th minute but a yellow card to Kings prop Ross Geldenhuys allowed Brumbies to make a comeback through a touchdown in the 21st minute from Josh Mann-Rea as the visitors trailed by five points at half time.

However, Brumbies showed more intent in the second half with tries from Aidan Toua and Banks while Kings failed to add any point allowing the Australian regional side to complete a nine point victory.
