Brumbies 12-18 Blues, GIO Stadium
Scorecard

Blues scored two tries in the second half as they registered a 12-18 win over Brumbies in their Super Rugby encounter at GIO Stadium on Sunday.

This is Blues fourth win of this season but they continue to languish at the bottom of New Zealand Conference while Brumbies managed to retain their position at top of Australian Conference.

The first quarter saw Bryn Gatland and Wharenui Hawera exchange penalties following which Matt Duffie crossed over for Blues to get them to a five point lead at half time.

Even though, Hawera kicked three more penalties in the second half, tries from number eight Akira Ioane and replacement Melani Nanai Vai proved decisive as Blues completed a 12-18 win.
