England international Billy Vunipola is expected to return back to action in late November following his latest injury setback.

The 28-year-old sustained a knee injury during Saracens' recently Gallagher Premiership game against Harlequins last weekend where he featured for 79 minutes.

A statement released by Saracens revealed the status on Vunipola's injury.

“Billy Vunipola received a positive scan result following a knee injury sustained against Harlequins on Sunday,” read the statement.

“He suffered a minor ligament injury, however it is expected that he will return to action in late November.”

The news will be a big blow to Vunipola, who was excluded from England squad by Eddie Jones for the upcoming Autumn Nations series.

Saracens are positioned second in the Gallagher Premiership table with five wins from six matches and will lock horns with London Irish in the 8th round at StoneX Stadium on 6th November.
