Ben Lam to join Bordeaux-Begles from Hurricanes at end of season

Ben Lam will make a switch from Hurricanes to Bordeaux-Begles

Bordeaux-Begles have confirmed that former New Zealand Sevens star Ben Lam will be joining the Top 14 club ahead of the 2020/21 season.

Lam started his professional rugby career with provincial side Auckland and Super Rugby club Blues in 2012 and shifted to Hurricanes ahead of the 2017 season.

Nephew of former New Zealand player and current director of Bristol Pat Lam, the 28-year-old represented New Zealand Sevens side between 2012 and 2016 and won a silver medal in Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

He will now join the Top 14 club Bordeaux-Begles on a two-year deal at the end of his current commitments with Hurricanes with Semi Radradra set to head to Ashton Gate ahead of the 2020/21 season.
