Saracens have announced that Tom Willis will join the Gallagher Premiership club ahead of the 2023/24 season.

A former England Under 20 captain, Willis made his professional rugby debut with Wasps in 2017 and went on to make over 50 appearances for them.

The 23-year-old made a switch to French club Bordeaux for the remainder of the ongoing season after Wasps entered into administration last month.

“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Saracens, It is a great club with a fantastic playing and coaching group and I’m looking forward to being a part of it next season," he told the club's official website.

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall is delighted to have acquired the services of Willis.

“We are delighted to be welcoming Tom to Saracens.

"He is a player that we have admired for a long time and we are confident that he will be a huge success here over the coming years.”

Saracens currently hold the top place in the Gallagher Premiership table with 11 wins from 12 matches.
