Scotland international Magnus Bradbury has extended his stay with Edinburgh by three more years and is now slated to remain with the Pro 12 club until 2020.

His only performance for Scotland came in the recent autumn international series against Argentina at Murrayfield and has been part of Scotland Under-20 and U-18 teams as well.

The 21-year-old joined Edinburgh in 2015 from Boroughmuir and has scored five tries in 22 games till now.

Bradbury is looking forward to enhance his career with both Edinburgh as well as Scotland.

"It's great to know I'll be part of this team for another three years, as I'm excited - along with the rest of the boys - about where we can take the club," he said.

"I love Edinburgh and there's a great group of people at the club, and that is a huge reason for me to stay.

"It's also great to have the opportunity to continue playing my rugby in Scotland as I look to build on my cap. Now, for me, it's about getting as many as I possibly can."

Interim coach Duncan Hodge believes giving more opportunities to young and talented players will hold the club in good stead.

"Magnus has worked very hard to get to this point, and his training ethic and determination to continue improving shines through every single day.

"He drives standards and is a great example to the other young players in the squad. Securing an asset such as Magnus is a real statement of intent going forward."
