Lions Beat Australia In Thrilling Opener

The British & Irish Lions got their campaign off to the perfect start with a 23-21 win over Australia in the opening match in Brisbane.

Tries from George North and Alex Cuthbert put them ahead and the reliable kicking boot of Leigh Halfpenny strengthened their position although Kurtley Beale missed a penalty with the last kick of the match that would have handed Australia victory.
