Ireland will be heading to South Africa in July next year for a two-match Test series against the Springboks.

Andy Farrell's men will be locking horns with the defending World Champions first on 6th July with Loftus Versfield in Pretoria being the venue followed by a clash at Hollywoodbets Kings Park in Durban for the second and final game.

In 2016, South Africa claimed a 2-1 series victory over Ireland following Ireland's initial win, which marked their first-ever triumph against the Springboks in South Africa.

Since that series, Ireland has won all three encounters between the two teams and emerged victorious in five of the last seven matches.

Their latest triumph occurred during the Rugby World Cup in France, where Andy Farrell's team secured a 13-8 victory over the eventual champions during the pool stages.
